<v:store:apple_pay>

Displays a button that when clicked will launch the Apple Pay checkout flow via the Stripe Payment Gateway. Usually displayed on the final Checkout page near the credit card form as an alternative.

Note that Vae currently does not support collecting the billing and shipping addresses via Apple Pay. This functionality could be added by extending Vae Remote, and we welcome open source Pull Requests to do so.

This tag must currently be nested inside ot a <v:store:checkout> tag. This requirement could be removed by extending Vae Remote, and we we welcome open source Pull Requests to do so.

Required Attributes

None.

Optional Attributes

  • active_class - Provide a CSS Class name here and Vae will automatically hide elements of this class if Apple Pay is unavailable, and show them if Apple Pay is available.

  • ajax - If this attribute is specified, code will be generated to submit this form via AJAX. This attribute should be set to the ID of the <div> container into which Vae will load the form response.

  • src - image to use for the button.

  • store_name - Store name to be used on the Apple Pay interface. Useful if you are maintaining multiple store brands through the same Vae account.

Since this tag generates an HTML <button> tag, you may also use any standard HTML attributes that are valid in the <button> tag. These will be passed through unchanged into the generated tag.
